  • The company was started and has been managed by Maharshi Mehta, who is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with a master’s degree in occupational safety from the University of Cincinnati.
  • Our leadership team comprises of more than 15 Board Certified Industrial Hygiene and Safety professionals with more than 100 years combined experience and commitment to reduce employee health and safety risk with no compromise on business ethics.
  • Our core services include Industrial Hygiene qualitative and quantitative assessments, EHS audits, Process safety and Occupational safety assessments, EHS framework implementation support, Ergonomics assessments, Indoor Air Quality assessments, Asbestos inspections, and Industrial Hygiene/EHS training programs.

We work at more than 300 pharma sites, providing services including but not limited to, API exposure monitoring, surrogate monitoring, containment validation, cross-contamination studies, potent compound handling, and Supply Chain EHS and due diligence audits.
  • We have conducted over 300 training programs on varied IH and EHS subjects in over 15 countries. We are an OHTA-approved training provider and additionally conduct customized onsite training and interactive webinars.

In under a decade, ISS has evolved from a team of 15 to over 50 highly qualified IH/PSM professionals, expanding from 3 to 9 global offices across the USA, Ireland, UK, Germany, France, India, Singapore, China, and Japan.

Message from the President

International Safety Systems Inc. (ISS) has experienced unprecedented growth in the last 15 years:

  • From three country offices to nine country offices in the USA, Ireland, UK, Germany, France, India, Singapore, China, and Japan.
  • From 15 professionals to over 50 committed and qualified OEHS professionals
  • From supporting 100 workplaces to more than 500 workplaces in 30+ countries.

We are now globally recognized in the pharmaceutical industry, supporting 300+ pharma sites across 20+ countries on potent compound facility design, API/surrogate exposure assessment, and more than 50 potent compound handling training.

New services and regional expansion globally have been the foundation of our exponential growth. Two new rapidly growing services include Process Safety Management and Machine Safety. Two CCPSC-certified PSM professionals, three Certified Machine Safety Experts®, and other colleagues have been driving growth for these two major new services.

I am very pleased to see that ISS is operating with the same vision and values with which I started the company, with 15 certified leaders located globally and 35 dedicated ISS colleagues.
